Cade Cunningham, NBA’s №1 Draft Pick, Joins JUST Egg™ as Ambassador

We’re thrilled to welcome Cade Cunningham, NBA’s №1 draft pick and new member of the Detroit Pistons, as a JUST Egg™ brand ambassador. He joins NBA All-Star and Olympic gold medalist DeAndre Jordan, center for the Brooklyn Nets, and Jrue Holiday, point guard for the Milwaukee Bucks, on JUST Egg’s growing roster of professional athlete partners.
Cunningham kicked off the first day of his NBA career with a JUST Egg-fueled breakfast, which he shared on Instagram.
Cunningham adopted a plant-based diet years ago after experiencing first-hand the immediate benefits to his performance and well-being. What started as a short-term test, has become a permanent change. The rising athlete has never felt better, especially as he prepares his body for the NBA.
“Heading into my professional career, I’m taking my nutrition to the next level by finding sustainable products that are plant-based, like JUST Egg, which gives me a delicious breakfast with all the protein benefits I need to recover from workouts and none of the cholesterol,” Cunningham said.
To celebrate Cunningham joining the Pistons, we partnered with the popular breakfast cafe Folk Detroit to create a delicious plant-powered breakfast sandwich inspired by the athlete’s favorite ingredients. “The Cade Stack” is layered with JUST Egg Folded, local greens, basil, rosemary potato crisps and a shakshuka cheese sauce and will be available for a limited time starting Wednesday, Aug. 4, 2021.
